Saving You Money,
Helping the Environment

We all know that energy efficiency and our carbon footprint is never out of the news for long these days, but what is often more of a concern is the ever increasing cost of our energy bills, in particular, the price of gas. You could save over a third on your annual gas bill with an upgrade to a new boiler.

During October 2010 a change to building regulations came into effect which is designed to reduce the use of fossil fuels within the home. With as much of 80% of a households fuel usage being for the provision of heating and hot water, these changes are aiming to improve efficiency through the better control of central heating systems. It is now a requirement that most new and replacement central heating systems are ‘zoned’ to enable separate temperature - and in some cases time control too – of parts of the system such as living and sleeping areas. This additional control can be practical as well as efficient and would mean that for example the heating within bedrooms and bathrooms could switch on earlier in the morning as people awaken and parts of a home used infrequently could be heated only when needed.

As an energy efficiency accredited business, all new installations we carry out will always use the most efficient appliances, we only fit ‘A’ rated boilers, we fit the size of boiler best suited to your needs and we recycle used materials where possible.

SAVE £££'s! During the annual service of your boiler, we can also carry out a system check where we not only make sure all your heating and hot water system is operating as it should, but also, included in the check is a free energy efficiency survey where in many cases we will identify potential, sometimes substantial savings to the running costs of your home heating.
